The following is a summary list of items that are new for the next 5 years season structure of 2025 to 2029.  See the Colorado Parks & Wildlife website and coming annual regulations for specifics on rules, dates and license application changes.

1. Archery either-sex antlered and antlerless elk licenses for non-residents will be a draw only.  You must apply in March.  Residents can still apply for limited licenses or buy an over the counter license only good in certain units.  See the new regulations when they come out in 2025.
2. Deer hunting will be added to the first rifle season and are remaining a draw only for all seasons.
3. 2nd combined rifle season is extended from 7 days to a 9 day season.
4. 3rd and 4th combined rifle season is about 4 days earlier than before.
5. Pronghorn antelope may have a 2nd 9 day rifle season starting the 3rd Saturday in October depending on the unit.
