About the Hunt Provider:
The Landowner will show you the property boundaries, where the deer or elk day bed, water and feed. If you know how to hunt deer or elk, that is all you need except for his cell phone number to call or text if you have any questions. We prefer to not mix groups but want to please everyone that wants to hunt gets to hunt. If 2 groups, we will split the ranch in half, and the first one that books gets a priority as to which ½ they hunt, so the sooner the 50% deposit the better to get the half that you want. We only allow up to 4 total hunters on the private land at one time, so quickly select you dates, and call before someone takes your date. Camping and campers are allowed, no sewage dump, and take all trash with you when you leave. You will be hunting on 500 acres of private land, which is surrounded by thousands of acres of national forest. When hunters begin hunting the surrounding National Forest the deer and elk move in like moths to a flame! Due to the location, price and success level there is a lot of demand. The owner hunts it lightly, so it doesn’t take long to book up.

At about 7,000 feet in altitude there are many roads and 2-tracks provide easy access once the landowner lets you through the locked gates to get on the ranch. There are areas of open parks, hay meadows, sage with others of pine and fir tree timber. There are multiple water sources on the property, different from the surrounding national forest. There are 2 herds of 250 elk that stay in this general area year around. The hunting is low to medium impact to fit all age and physical abilities. Shots are traditionally under 200 yards for rifle seasons. Hunt the whole ranch and decide what level of physical ability that you want to take, it is your choice.
